Thank you! One good thing about hatchery chicks is that they don't always get the most stunning traits. My friend has polish and she said it looks like the crests won't be as prominent which in this case works in our favor.

I do love my hatcher "mutts" but if you plan to show, then will need to find breeders for those.

Welcome. Silkies are very popular, beautiful birds but, notoriously difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age and sometimes not till they lay or crow.
