buff orpington
road island red
wyandotte
chicks are a mix of brahma and maybe black mystic muron, olive egger or americana - got them from a farm and just decided to try and incubate them! they are beautiful!

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
having livestock to take care while they also take care of you!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
making soap, trying to live as homesteady as possible, natural remedies

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
have 4 nigerian dwarf goats, 3 dogs and a full house of kids!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
i have been lurking for awhile and have learned a lot... but i also want to ask my own questions! you all seem so friendly and willing to share and help others along their journey! also, i need to build a new coop..... will need a lot of advice!
