The run isn't going to be an octagon... at least not yet. I am going for something quick on the run for now so I can get the girls moved in. At some point I definitely want to build them a salad bar, and I'll be looking around for other ideas.

That is very nice...Wish my wife & I could work together like that. We just end up tripping over each other.

i'm starting our 2nd coop this week with recycled pallets. That octagon design looks perfect for my project as all my pallets are 4ft wide. Can't wait to see your all done. Great job

Underneath is going to be part of the run, but no hole in the floor.

I'm now solo on this project. My husband and I have separated. (Not because of this project, either. We were actually doing pretty well on that.)

I am completing this ALL BY MYSELF. It's a lot of hard work, especially since I work full time, but I am one determined woman.
