Wish I could labor under the same delusion you do. I can build some things but really don't think I could of built your coop. As I had said before, I love it. Hats off to you.

Latex or water based paint comes off pretty well with just a little scrubbing, but more warm water and soap. Oil based paints will come off with paint thinner if they haven't had a chance to cure (8hours) or accelerated bu being in the sun. Paint thinner can blister fair skin and should be washed off and followed with some sort of oil or cream. just sayin'

Your coop is wonderful. Builder background or not, buildings with more or fewer than 4 corners are difficult to build at best. Framers like to say "the drywaller will fix it", and the drywallers say "3/4" mud (and a bottle of bourbon) will fix anything!

Congrats on Cluckingham Palace, I love the name..

Painting is such a big job, I'm about to head out and do some myself - but we are just on the frame at this stage which is probably the most boring painting ever!

Wow. That is an amazing coop, I just happened on this post. Feel badly about the separation though.
