I was given a cabinet incubator that is mostly complete. It had mice nests on almost every shelf! I am trying to figure out what I have here, if its worth getting up and running. I will post pictures later but here's what I remember. It's label says "Superior Cabinet Incubator" made in Houston Texas. I cannot find any info on the company online. It's huge! It takes up about half of my truck bed and it's as tall as my chest. It has 2 double hinged doors on top that you can flip open one way or the other and a large door on the side with a glass window to access the egg shelves. I believe it has 8 slide out shelves with a manual push/pull bar for turning the eggs. There are 2 switches on one side and one switch turns on the fan and the heating element and the other switch I am not sure of. On the inside there are what looks to be 2 light bulb socket type fixtures and one socket has the old sytle round glass fuse screwed into it, and the other socket is empty. The fan and heater element is at the top on one end of the cabinet and they both work. The heater element is just a curly wire that circles the fan and I do not see any adjustments for the heater. It's either on or off. There are air holes located on both sides of the cabinet with the slide-type closures. So i guess my question is, how can you regulate the temp on this thing with no adjustment controls? There is a thermometer probe mounted inside but there is no wiring connecting it to anything. It looks like there might have been a control that plugs into the probe from the outside of the cabinet. I have seen a few cabinets on this thread that look somewhat like this one but nothing real close. Any info would be great! Thanks!

Sounds an awful lot like the Brower 624 (built by Leahy) incubator that I have. Works beautifully. On mine there is sort of a little screw that sticks out between the two switches, turning that screw/knob changes the temps. The second switch is to control the lightbulb that should be screwed in to the second socket. I agree, we need pictures! :) Also, I have a copy of the Leahy manual that I can email you if you'd like, all the instructions are the same, things are just in different places.
