New old coop

I plan on moving all openings around. The coop door for the birds is moving from the front to the side where there was a clean out, I also plan on moving the clean out to the opposite side and then adding a hardware cloth window with a pop open cover. Also plan on adding vents to the upper back side. It should all make more sense hopefully tomorrow

Little more work this weekend. Added a 4'x8' run, repositioned the openings from the original and also switched the nesting box from and inside to outside version. Hope to get a few silkies this weekend.

This is very similar to my coop and run setup.

Almost done and way above what I thought it would cost. Just need to finish hardware cloth under coop and then add chickens and supplies

That is looking great! Ours cost more than we expected as well. It looks fabulous though, what breed or breeds are you considering?

You guys did an excellent job, way to go.
If I may add my two cents. I would remove the ramp on the inside leading to the nesting boxes. It will free up more floor space for your birds and it looks like it is no more than a foot hop to the platform you have leading into nest boxes so unless you have silkies it really wouldn't be needed.

Completed coop with 4 silkies about 3 months old. Looking to add a few more larger birds for some bigger eggs. I have had them a week now and they are starting to venture out into the run
