I had never had a goose die on me before and was just shocked at losing two one year after another. So I was bound to find out what happened. So did research and found that the lack of calcium could be the problem. So I gave more calcium to them and this year did not lose a female.
So have shared my findings with others on here....
There were people losing their females either during or right after laying season. So I made sure to tell them to give extra calcium to them during breeding and egg laying season.
