Hello all - I have a small Cochin that isnt growing. She was eating well, pooping fine, drinking well, etc. but she just isnt growing. She is still downy while all the others have doubled or tripled in size and have feathers in.
Today I noticed her butt pushing a lot and her vent is bright red and sticking out. I thought this could be pasty butt but I washed her rear under warm water for several minutes and nothing is coming out and there is nothing pasted over. It looks like a giant bright red pimple. Her butt keeps moving like she has to poo but I could not coax anything out and nothing came out after the long water rinse and massage.
Ideas?
