New Owner of 11 beautiful hens

Hello everyone, I recently bought a house and it came with 11 hens.

They are awesome looking and seem healthy. According to previous owners they are 2-4 year old hens.

One hen doesnt have feathers on hear fluffy area and there is a poop drip run on the back of her.

As I am so new to this and I have no experience with chicken at all, we are going into winter soon, temps are around 30-40s fahrenheit tonight. I want my hens to be healthy. What is it qnd wwaht can i do to help her get some feathers back before the winter?

Can you ask the previous owner when there last deworming was done.

You would need to grab her at night while she's roosting. Check for lice, mites on her skin and feather. And check the condition of her poop. Take pictures and post your examination of her on here. So the community can help out if possible.

If your hen is not being picked on she is molting and should have new feather back before it gets really cool. What's your Coop situation look like? Is it predator proof and large enough for all your girls with adequate ventilation?

Thank you so much. Unfortunately there is no more communication between us, they were not very cooperative unfortunately or maybe the realtor was. Catch them at night, huh? Thqt should be fun. Ive never done this in my life before. Hope they dont think i want to eat them. I will update on the poop and other results tomorrow. Feel really bad for this one, as the rest are all with very fluffy buts.
