Hey Yall!!

We recently welcomed a precious pekin duckling into our family. We are keeping her indoors but there is alot I need to learn. I am still searching for the best/decently priced placed to order a duck harness diaper. We also have chickens outside but Miss Bailey our new ducky has stolen my heart and I want to make sure I am doing my best for her to be happy and thriving. :)
 
Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. I'm a chicken person, but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. Have fun talking ducks on the thread. I hatched some for the fun of it..Harlequin. They were adorable! Didn't keep them, not a good idea where I am. Found some very grateful folks to take them.
 
A lot of folks have been asking about duck diapers, etc. I tried but, couldn't find any recent ads for them. On another thread I came across the name "Kukupecpec." as a user name. from Tucson, AZ. who makes the diapers and I assume harnesses as well. You might see if anything comes up for her user name in the searchbox. I heard her offerings are pretty expensive. - especially if starting with a duckling, as they will continue to outgrow diapers fast before maturing.

You may also be interested in the "show off your house ducks," thread - a lot of people do keep them in the house as pets.
