New pen for the chicks

Do you think its to early to put them outside for a few minutes

I think they’ll be fine... my 10 DAY olds are getting daily outings for about an hour as long as the weather is permitting. It’s always at least 18 degrees (65 F) here in the afternoons so they are getting a lot of time outdoors. I set up a bottomless cardboard box for them to wander around in, and give them a little tray of food. They love pecking at bugs, grass, worms—you name it! I think that it’s a great experience for them to be outside!
