Okay, so I guess I'll post a little history of my Betta fish.
Rainbow
I bought Rainbow from a pet shop back in the summer of 2017. He was young, happy, and healthy. He lived with me for about 3 years. Last month he passed away from Dropsy. He was a mostly blue fish with some red and other colors in the mix.
Swimmer
I bought Swimmer from the same pet shop as Rainbow on the same day. At first I kept them in a small tank with a divider....I was a beginner and didn't know how to make my Betta fish happy. About 1 year ago, I realized what was wrong and put Swimmer in the tank I had already without the divider...and Rainbow in a homemade tank until I could get another store bought one. Swimmer is still alive and healthy. He is a mostly red fish with some purple in the mix.
Blue Boy
I bought Blue Boy from the same pet shop as Rainbow and Swimmer. I got him 2 days ago. He is still new and settling in, but I love him already. He is a very friendly fish and has beautiful purple and red coloring.
Rainbow, Swimmer, and Blue Boy. Alive or dead - they are always in my heart. ❤

Don't you love the feeling of rescuing a wonderful Betta from those small cups in the pet store?
, but now I want some!
They are fun and great to have around. Very little maintenance. Just a few things you NEED to do like feeding, water changes and tank cleaning, etc.
I'd love to here about them!
