New Pics Of My Quail D' Anver Bantam Rooster From 1/2/10.

yep, his body carriage does look a lot better today, he's not all droopy like he was in the earlier pics you sent me and feather quality is looking better too another thing, his comb looks more inflated now you can actually see some small spikes in it today. that good worming may have done the trick.
Like Cynthia was saying though, it is good practice to quarantine all new arrivals for 30 days before introducing them to your birds. This is a must for me. I have about 600 here, so for a few new ones to get all of them sick would be a disaster.
But yes, I was the one who told him he looked peckish, wasnt that he got it knowing it was, never do that.

I just see so many sad, disappointing stories about that, so I am the resident "bucket of cold water" here on BYC.

He is a cute little guy. Hope he's a good boy for you.

oh yea, me too, The biggest thing I can't stand is people telling how to "cure" respiratory diseases, when most of them, especially the mycoplasma versions are incurable and will be carried and spread by that bird for the rest of it's life, even from mother to egg. Once they get those, there is nothing Tylan can do for it. First off, they have to just run their course, it is untreatable to start with, the antibiotics just stop secondary infections from getting to them. But yep, theres lots of bugs out there you really dont want to bring home....
