I see the picture on your blog of the other side, very nice. I'm curious about the inside. How many standard birds does it house? I'll try searching online for Amish built houses.

No its not insulated but the birds are out there right now and seem to be doing A ok ! I have had up to 15 girls in their right now its at 10 but I will be right back up at 15 soon its a nice tight squeez but they only eat sleep and lay inside the rest of the time they are free ranging our out in the run digging stuff up to make my mom mad

I aproximate how many birds I can fit by how much roosting space their is and how many nests their are they are 5 nests in this one and they only use two there is more then enough room for them to roost in it also

Its the same coop as on horizon building site! I am very pleased overall

Henry - Where are you getting your Welsummer and BBS Ameracauna?

I was going to breed my Blue Ameracauna's in the spring to see what I end up with....

I was getting them from Will Marrow not sure if he is really selling that much right now though I think I am his last and only sale this season he will have birds and eggs this spring he has an amazing farm its really one of the most beautiful places I have been here in Maryland ! www.whitmorefarm.com

Well all the birds came through fine last night and I am getting at least three Welsummers on Saturday and maybe another Wellie and two Ameraucana depend on what type of mood my Dad is maybe we can go get ice cream before we make the trip I have been being extra nice to him lately

LOL he is already pretty soft from all the ice cream

well I am sure he will say yes when he sees the parent birds but my Mom will the the one who flips when I come home with 6 chicks it will all be alright when she sees them outside though (if they ever get outside in this cold weather) sara I have found a way to get you your boy !!!!
