Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I'm sure you all will be hearing from me a lot as I am trying to gain knowledge on how to care for these chickens properly. I've done some homework, but having people to run questions and ideas by is so much better than just a link on a website. I'll be sure to poke around old threads to try to find answers first, but forgive if I end up asking questions that may have been asked a million times before.

We are so excited to begin our chicken journey. My boys (I have 5 sons, though one has moved out on his own) are especially excited about having our little flock. We plan on building out a run this weekend, if the weather permits, so I'm currently poking around getting ideas for that. I'm just so excited to be here!
