New Project "Road to Ok" Quilt for My Bed (Top Finished!)

Quote:
There is an old saying that quilters use about imperfections, "only God can make something perfect." Many quilters consider it bad luck to have no mistakes.

I'm scaring myself today. I put the last border strip on, then realized that one of the red squares didn't even get sewn, which meant that side was off, so I "unsewed" that border strip (which made tingling fingers) and trimmed that side a tad, put the border strip back on and when I went to iron it, realized I had sewn it to the WRONG side of the medallion! Why did I not notice that when I pinned it on or when I was sewing it??? So, my awesome DH says, "Do you want me to rip that seam out for you?" in order to save my fingers. Where are my brain cells today??

OH, that is just gorgeous! You did that so fast and it is wonderful with that border! Love it! You did such a good job...only you will be aware of errors...oops, now we all know don't we?

But telling us about the errors and then us seeing the finished top erases all the knowledge of mistakes, good for you!!!

Cyn, I've been following this thread and there must have been a reason it wasn't working the other way cause this is turning out to be beautiful this way!! I really like it!!!

Yeah Cyn, those "off" blocks were planned that way..just like Jody said, quilters of long ago purposely made a mistake/left something undone..after all there is only one Perfect One!

It is georgeous and will make an awesome quilt.
