Warm welcome to you!! Misty is beautiful. our pup is abt the same age,she is a blk lab.D.D. brought her home.Someone had dumped her n her sister in a box,in the woods behind her friends house. She is is also abt 40lbs and has adjusted.(she was abused)She started in heat last week and her appt to be spayed isnt till Nov 16th..Im in the process of looking for a new vet,they told D.D. the spayed and chip would be $262.00,now they said it is $400.00 Does it usually cost more after they have gone through heat??? My Rott had gone through heat earlier than most dogs and the price was the same..D.D pays all the bill for her and that is alot more than she can afford w/being a full time student n working part-time..Any suggestions? Will the SPCA do it for less?
