New PVC feeder...

I am almost finished with my coop, and am now working on the, "interior designing," portion. I think I will use this as my model, for the feeder! Thanks!

I moved my birds in the coop on Monday. After a three day test drive, no "billing" out the feed or problems as of yet.

At the feeder, no billing. As they grow we will see? But can make the adjustments.

How much feed does it hold? I have 13 chickens that go through a 7lb feeder every 2 days. It doesn't look like it would hold that much but I love the concept

Not sure, I'll get back to you when I check out the capacity next time I refill it. I am on day four though, but I only have 6 birds and they are 4-5 weeks old???

Brilliant design! It is elegant simplicity.

I have a question though: as they eat and the food is replinished by gravity, what about the food in the bottom? Is there a layer that doesn't get eaten?
