New quail chick mama

hi all, I have 2 three week old quails which are doing brill they where in my sons room so didn’t see them all the time. I have 4 four day old quails which are on my living room and I’ve noticed there wings sort of droop. Is this normal?? I’ve have added some photos it’s hard to see because of the red heat light.

If their wings are drooping and you are brooding with a red heat lamp, my money is on "they're hot".

They're too hot.
Are they panting too?
They don't need a red light at 4 weeks. Red lights tend to be too hot anyway.
I use a 60w at that age.

They also need space away from a heat source, so they can cool off if needed(in your brooder)

There 4 days not week, sorry if I put week in be put the light higher they only seem to do it when they are tired I’ve just checked them there all running around happy and giddy. One is so chirpy and always seems to want me. I take it out and put her on the floor in my living room and whistle she copies me and snuggles into me. I thought they were shy and didn’t like human contact.

Aha, 4 days old - not 4 weeks old, makes a big difference..
