Thank you. It's one of those things you learn to expect when you raise poultry. Not all chicks make it no matter what you do to try and help them. Didn't tell the kids about it. They get so sad when something like this happens. I once had a chick hatch that had all its internal organs in a sac outside its body. We culled of course but it was definitely something you don't see everyday. That was when I first got into chickens. Feels like forever ago. Seeing this little guy kind of reminded me of it.


I love Orps but the chocolates are the best!
Things don't always go as planned with hatches. Improper humidity definitely plays havoc on developing embryos. I am super sorry .
