New rescue Chicken 🐔 ❤️

We were taking care of our neighbors critters when we noticed this little girl. She was yelling scratched up and not moving. When we tried to sit her up she kept falling couldn't stand. 1st problem, he had 7 roos and 2 or 3 hens along with this little girl and a baby hen. Also, drake's and one female duck with the chickens in a small cage. The cage was filled with poop mud and dead chicken pieces . Their coop had a dead chicken in it that got attacked. So, and the others quit literally smelled like death. The ducks kitty pool hasn't been cleaned since he got them. So we cleaned it. It was just bad. We brought the hen home she was extremely malnutrition to the point she couldn't move. She was getting bullied by the others and attacked by the roos the others weren't letting her get to the food. The next day the baby hen was completely torn up and bloody by the roos and they were all around attacking her. We brought her home cleaned her up but sadly the died that night. When the man got home he was gonna throw the little hen back in. We asked to keep her and he said "ya, sure I don't care if you keep her or not." " It was a mistake they hatched anyway." Lucky we have now named Ruby and she is safe and spoiled with us .

I hate to say it but I think I would report him for animal neglect.

He shouldn't have animals.

I was thinking the same exact thing. When someone treats animals like that, they should be in trouble.

I would've taken pictures of the situation the birds were in before you had taken care of them for evidence.

This man should get in trouble, and if animals are living in cages where there are dead body parts of past animals in it, all of those animals should be taken and given a better life.

Yep, was gonna do just that. But he is actually loosing his house. Was gonna leave the birds and everything there with nothing. And my other neighbor who happens to be my pastor and his wife are gonna take his birds when he looses the house and leaves then sell them to good homes.

Absolutely, this is one of the pics I took of the little one before she passed this photo doesn't even show how bad it really was and this was after I cleaned her up. Hopefully I can use this against him.

Do you think there is any chanve of him having you back to clean the anomals again? If so, be ready to take as many pictures as possible.

Exactly the plan, he's having us do it again in August. I feel a little bad for him because 3 of his immediate family died within a month his girlfriend ran away and left there daughter with him. He has 3 boys and a daughter to care for while constantly working and now losing his house. But at the same time you don't need to blame the critters for that by abusing them. So hopefully if everything works out he will either get them taken away. Or, me and my pastors wife can give them to good homes.

If he has all that going on, he should've found them new homes. I am sure that if he had said what was going on and why he wanted to get rid of them, then people would've jumped at the chance to get them.

If this was near the DFW area in Texas, I would jump at the opportunity to help rehome those poor animals.
