New Seattle ordinance

    Raised the number of chickens allowed from 3 to 8.

    Banned new roosters.

    Existing roosteres allowed to live to old age.

    They also lifted restrictions on sales of home-grown foods, which will benefit farmers' markets.

    Yayyy!! I just came in here to report the Seattle progress. I live north of Seattle by 50 or so miles. Grew up there though. Well, I never quite grew up but you know. I am happy for Seattlites to have the option for more birds.
