Should I be worried that my new pare of silver laced sebrights are sneezing in the car. It is cold outside for once in Florida and the can is mildly warm. They are going to stay separate from the other birds for 2 weeks eather way. Is this bad or is this completely normal ?

Sneezing makes me a bit nervous, but the fact that there is no nasal or ocular discharge is good.
Yes, my parents said that it is probably from the being in the car for 2 hours. They are ona towel too so maybe the lint? Also, meet Ace (the cockerel) and Grace (the pullet)

I have a couple sneezing hens. No symptoms of anything and no discharge. They are hustling finishing their molt and the air here is dry. Should I be concerned? It’s not constant sneezing, I’ve just heard a couple.

Here they are in the cage for tonight while we get they coop ready for them (away from all my chickens). They are still sneezing.

I suggest you protect the rest of your flock and make sure you wash your hands, and wear different clothes out between them so you can’t transmit anything those two might have.

Yea I am doing that. I have been through 5 sets of clothes.😂 They are on the other side of the house so we don’t have this worry about them going near each other. I gave them vitamin water using the rooster booster powder I have. Can I try giving them mealworms?

If they don’t have anymore symptoms than the sneezing I think mealworms would be fine. Make sure they’re getting regular feed too.

Call the breeder and discuss the sneezing with him or her. Chickens, especially small breeds, are sensitive to air quality: car exhaust, cigarette smoke, perfume are a few things to think about.
