Wow, good stuff!

A few suggestions:

1) Don't rely / wait on me for anything (decisions, permission, etc.) I'll help where I can, but from what I've seen so far you're on the right track.

2) Keep things really simple the first go around. It is better to have it be really simple and have a TON of submissions then to have a ton of rules / threads with few submissions. If this works out (and I think it will) we can then go more specific.

3) If / when there are grand masters (best of show type winners) then BYC will probably provide the winners with goodies from the store (bumper stickers, shirts, etc.) and/or exclusive surprise goodies not in the store.

If your a judge can you still enter your birds as long as you dont judge them?

S n M, yes you can enter pictures, just can't judge them though.

Sorry Just saw that. I have a question. How about judges cant enter the birds in the class they are judging but they can do it in another class that they arnt judging?

My plan was for the 10 judges to judge everything for the poultry show they signed up for. They can enter, but cannot vote for themselves.

Will it be hard to find and organize 10 judges for each competition? I was thinking to keep it simple/easy there would be 2-3 judges for each competition and a judge would not be able to have their own submissions in the comp. they are judging. If someone wants to enter their bird they could simply choose to judge a different competition.

Just my 2 cents, but again, it's up to ya'll. Either way it will be a fun learning experience and we can hopefully find a format that works well for the long term.

Yea i agree with nifty. there should only be 5 judges at the most
