It is great having you here! My Wife retired from teaching this year after about 34 years. I have to work up to 4 years more though....

I have 9 Red-star hens, I was told a chicken farm was going out of business And that the hens were being sold at auction. So the lady I bought them from actually bought them at auction and she said that the hens were only about a year old. They had lots of issues. I’ve treated them all. They have always laid really well. I give so many eggs to people and even the local soup kitchen.
Now, Concerning my eggs, recently when the eggs are just a few days old you can shake them and feels like the egg is loose from the inside. They are still edible, but I can’t give them away like that, people think they are rotten.
So what’s the problem?
