NEW SPRING QUILT BLOCK SWAP!

So with wyoDreamer wanting to do 2 sets, that would bring us to the same as 8 people and we do double would make for 16 blocks each....How is every on that?

I can't edit the OP any longer so here we are...

Black and brights theme, must have at least one black in the block with bright colors. Blocks can be what ever you chose, simple or complicated. Sign ups until December 15. If we have more than 12 people up to 24, we will split so only need half the blocks and everyone will get their same number of blocks made returned from the total group of blocks sent. Due date of February 15. Fabric must be 100% cotton fabric prewashed and dried, please no fabric softener for people with allergies (for consistency). Pick your block or blocks, they don't need to be the same block, you can mix and match if you want, but needs to be a finished 12" block, or 12-1/2 x 12-1/2 raw size for seam allowance. When you sign up, PM your contact info...name, address, phone number. You need to check in weekly to keep updated and talk about anything to let us what is going on in your world, whether related to quilting or not. You need to send with postage-paid self addressed envelope to get return "squishie" of blocks delivered by the due date, and to be sent back 2 business days after due date. If you want tracking info, you must send that. If you do not follow through, you may not be allowed in future swaps. Any future swap ideas or someone wanting to be hostess for the next swap, let's discuss. I will send a little something back to 10 people on random posts throughout the swap, numbers selected by my granddaughter :) Let's go people

Everyone hold off on finishing a bit, wyodreamer didn't realize we decided to double with only, I think 5 of us at the time, so she can decide if she only wants to do one set and we still have a few days for signups left.

If you guys have 6 participants, and you are doing double the blocks, that is 12 blocks each.
That is what you originally signed up for.

If you want to keep it at 12 blocks, I am OK with letting this swap stand as is.
I don't want to make things more difficult for anyone.

You can sign me up as a back-up, in-case someone can't finish the blocks for some reason.

If you want to do more blocks, I am willing to join, but don't do this just to allow me to join. 14 blocks is an odd number for a quilt, as is 16. 12 blocks makes a nice 3x4 quilt.

I will continue to lurk and watch for another interesting swap to join. Meanwhile, I will enjoy my newly organized sewing room and create many nifty projects, ... insert manical laughter here ...

Sent you a PM...let me know....

I'm in and I really don't care how many blocks we do, but for the colors some of the blocks may be a little different style as I thought I had enough to finish the pattern I show cased. Just tell me how many blocks to do.
