I got 12 gorgeous white homers on the June 28, to rebuild my flock. Two are not white but come from white parents. Tighten up my loft. A week or so ago 2 birds escaped before becoming orientated. One returned and I manage to trap him this morning. As soon as I pick up batteries for my camera I post some pics.

Good news I got 6 birds flying at large as of today that trap and are adapting nicely. Sadly I let 8 birds out and 2 have yet to return. I have not given up hope (of course they are two of the birds I was hoping NOT to loose as luck would have it.)

On another note got batteries for my camera; But put the camera in a safe place to match up with the batteries. Now it is lost in space or should I say safe

Exciting news... can't wait to see some pics.

Its always very worrying when new birds go missing... but most of the time they come back.. as I found when one of my new homing pigeons got out after only a couple of weeks ... and she flew off into the distance.

Like you it was a bird I really liked as she was pure white. She was gone for days.. but then my friend spotted her flying very high in the sky when we were in the garden. Took her several more days to get tired and hungry enough and re join my flock and go back into the coop. She liked her freedom.. but now is very good at coming back.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
