Hi BYC, We’ve had chickens just over a year and I just finally joined today to post a very specific question on incubators that I couldn’t find while reading the site. I’ve been a religious reader of BYC over the last year and it has saved me a hundred times over. There is such great info on this site that you can’t find in any book. Reading the real life experiences of chicken owners is so super helpful for newbies. BYC rocks!

We have 5 laying hens who I adore - 2 buff Brahms bantams from Ideal Poultry, and 1 Easter egger, 1 buff Orpington, and 1 red star from Baxter barn. We’ve also raised ducklings.
