My black austrolop become broody a week ago. I tried looking up and cold water nothing helped. Today I got three eggs due to hatch May 29, 1 barred rock and two australops. I never wanted two of the same breed. But I am on an island, oahu... I have 6 hens and 2 pullets. Any tips?

Not sure I understand the situation or what you want to do that you are asking about tips on.

You couldn't break your broody with cold water ......so you let her sit...on what?
You got eggs yesterday that should hatch in 5 days....... were they in an incubator?

Did you give these eggs to the broody and is she sitting on them?
How long was the broody sitting?

I suggest that you go to the Broody Hen thread and give more details there.
