So it is official.... I'm hooked! I just cant get enough of my flock. 
For a girl that has never been around chickens before I started with 3 Barred Rocks, 3 Golden Comets, 3 Cornish Rocks, and 1 White Turkey! We are eight days shy of our first butcher of the three cornish birds and we are still a little bummed! They have become huge compared to 6 weeks ago.

Now I have made my newest list for the added laying hens to add to my flock! The breeds to be ordered are the following:
(2) Silver-Laced Wyandotte's
(2) Speckled Sussex
(1) Araucana
(1) Columbian Rock
I think I'm going to have the prettiest flock of my area when I'm done (besides a few others I know)!
Does it ever end?
We also have finalized our new and improved predator resistant coop until the big one is done!
They are so happy to have the space to run, fly, roost, sleep, and bathe in the sun!
