Hi All - we are new to all of this. Feel free to see my other posts for the back story. I just recently finished building our first coop. Today, I attempted to add a gravity based - PVC, dripper - watering system. I think I did OK, but it seems that a couple of the red drippers will remain tripped and thus leaking water. Is it something I did wrong? I built them a ladder today too.

Yep, they are not hanging vertical, like they should be. Even hung vertically, people have issues with them dripping sometimes. Horizontal nipples are a better choice IMO.

Thank you both. I wish I had known about the Horizontal nipples B4 I bought these... :( Oh well - I thought tilting them away from the fencing would be a good thing. I guess that's what I get for thinking.

I just finished before sunset. The dippers were all too low for my Rooster anyway. It looked like this took care of the problem - we will see in the morning.
