Hi, I live in Leduc County, Alberta, Canada, I have just recently got chickens in late August, We got them from a pretty bad place but I think the flock is pretty happy in their new home. We have about 9 chickens in total (including 2 roosters), I am hopeful for the future of our chickens and just plain getting some eggs in the end.

Thanks, Yeah we got our egg laying chickens for free from a breeder who was going to send them to the slaughterhouse because they weren't laying very well, but we decided that we could see how they'd do with us. They aren't laying a ton but we still get a good amount now.
