New to backyard chickens.

Hi. I am new to raising chickens. Hubby and I have a little coop and run in the backyard. Last month we got 3 Red Comet hens 19 months old, they lay 2 to 3 eggs a day. We also got 3 chicks from Tractor Supply (Plymouth Rocks). Our little peepers are 6 weeks old. Today we moved them out to the run (sectioned off part for their safty). Can the little girls stay outdoors at night?

They can usually go out at 6 weeks old. Like Penny posted, when they are fully feathered.

Thanks for the encouragement. Our peepers look fully feathered.

We decided to just move them permanently into their sweet section of the run. My hubby moved the light out there (Making sure to secure it 3 ways, because I worry). It will be in the high 40's tonight here.
They are having so much fun scratching around, dust bathing, and talking up a storm to the older girls on the other side of the fence. The queen is not amused with the peepers, so it may been a while before they mix.
