Hey everyone, I'm Joe. I just got into raising chickens this past month. I have 12 hens (various breeds) and 1 Buff Rooster. They were all free from a family friend. I have an 8x8 coop with a 10x10 run that my father and I built. I am from the Pittsburgh area. I hope to learn as much as I can from everyone here.

Do you have any other ventilation in your coop besides that one window?
If not...you should probably add more.

I have a large 32"x50" in the back that is open on top and bottom. Plus the metal roofing is rippled and leaves a natural vent at the roof on the front and rear.
