New to broody chickens

What are you using as a feeder?

It's a feed cup for caged birds, got it at the pet store,
carefully bent the wires in a bit to lessen chance of it getting knocked off.
Works better than anything else I've tried.
It's useless folly to put feed and water on floor.

I just use a small cat food bowl, yes the broody will knock it over but if I put it on the side furthest from the nest area (since the hen will spend most her time in that direction) it reduces the frequency of food/water being knocked over.

The crate I use is 24"L x 18"W x 21"H.
