I'm from Nova Scotia Canada. I've had chickens for 2 years now and I LOVE them. My family and friends thought I was nuts when I told them I was going to raise chickens, but now I get weekly visits to watch their antics. *And a steady supply of super fresh eggs doesn't hurt either

I have 1 Columbian Rock (hen), 2 Black Australorps (1 hen 1 roo), 2 Blue Australorps (1 hen 1 roo), and 5 Buff Orpingtons (5 2 week chicks). My 3 hens are laying and I get 4-6 eggs DAILY. I just can't get over how good these girls are at laying!
I am currently building a new coop, as the old one took a real beating this winter. I love the forums and all the advice and tips you guys and gals have. Will post pictures of the new coop with my girls when it's done. ^_^
