New to BYC and Ducks

Hi! We live on approximately 9 acres with a 3 1/2 acre spring-fed pond. We have always wanted chickens and ducks and have finally purchased 6 baby ducklings...they are almost two weeks old AND VERY MESSY...LOL! We are so excited about our new additions!

Congratulations on your new home... and babies! Ducklings have got to be the most adorable critters ever!! I think that should make up for their messiness. I've discovered that stall pellets make the best brooder bedding for my chicks, very tidy and absorbent... probably great for duckies too! Here's a link that may have some other helpful tips:
