New to byc and new chicken mama

Hi I'm new here and also a first time chicken mom. I have 6 4 week chicks and 4 17 week pullets that could start laying any time. My brother had fair chickens (meat chickens) when I was growing up so had chickens as a child but only one year and I didn't do much with them. We gave Easter Eggers, a Rhode island red, barred plymouth rock, sapphire gems, black australorp, and one half ameraucana half cochin.

Here is my half and half and the Easter egger, black australorp, and the starlight green egger I forgot to list. The 6 chicks never stand still so can't get good photos of them. The big ones are in a temporary pen today while we finish up the run for the big chicken coop and we have been having rain all week so they have been in the garage in a large dog crate at night.
