I am new to Backyard Chickens and
soon to be a new mom to 15 Chicks.
I am vey excited to starting my venture
but even more happy to find others
like me that love their chickens.

! Great to have you with us! Congrats on your impending chickenhood! BYC is a great resource should you have questions along the way. As a beginner in the chicken game you might take some time and read through the Learning Center - it is chock full of really great information about the care and maintenance of chickens!

My oldest brother lives in Franklin County Ind near Brookville Lake. What a beautiful state :)

Thank you I am so excited about getting my new chicks. We are driving up to Polk Ohio to pick them up on the 11th of June. My kids all live in Columbus Ohio. I do like it here, but would rather be closer to them. Guess my chicks will have to be my new close family LOL.

Oh dont worry .... those chicks will soon be your 2nd brood of children. They are irresistable adorable little imps :)
