New to BYC but 6yrs of keeping chickens !

Hi everyone, yes, new here, but been keeping these wonderful creatures for over 6yrs.......the highs and lows !
Now on chickens numbers 7,8,9 & 10. Lost 3 and had to retire 3 to a friends farm when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2013 and we just couldn't give them the time and love..........
Constantly learning and love all the different characters and habits they have !!
Now have a Brown Speckledy, Blackrock, and due to a sad death we have this week introduced two newbies at P.O.L. - a Light Sussex and a beautiful Grey Speckledy ! (Dixie, Zoe, Honey & Connie.......anyone guess the 'theme' ??).

Thank you everyone ! Kind words & wishes - cancer officially cured and 2 yrs after am now on 3 monthly checks (for 3 more years).
Girls are doing well, my bullied newbie (Grey Speckledy - Connie) actually comes for cuddles and stroking and chats away to us........big softie and a real joy !

Am looking forward to sharing more on BYC and no doubt learning more too !!
