Hi there, Jacinta here, been on BYC a few times in the past, just increased my # to 6 chickens and that has making me come to BYC more often. I have 2 B.O. 2 Wyondottes and 2 Plymouth. Last 4 just started laying a couple of weeks ago. I used to have 3 B.O. but sadly one got caught by a hawk (saw it). (Typing here is really hard, so forgive my mistakes, also im an english as a 2nd language, so i make a few mistakes here and there).

I live in the Oakland hills, no HOA regulations but the city ones, no roosters, its ok, im pretty content with just girls. I also love cats, have 2 at the moment, they keep other cats away from my chickens. I also have 3 boys who eat eggs almost every single morning ;)

    Hi :welcome Jacinta

Glad you could join the flock! Sorry to hear you lost a flock member to a hawk, always very sad when they are lost. Your typing is just fine no problems at all, very good so dont you worry.

Wishing you the very best of luck in the future. Be sure to ask any questions, everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow

BYC has a very useful Learning Center worth your time reading [IMG]

Your typing English as a seconded language well you are doing better then most who only speak and somewhat wright it as an only language .. [IMG]

I am glad you found your way over here so everyone can say hello to you and you can get a little better acquainted with BYC and how it works [IMG]

Hi Jacinta and welcome to BYC - great to have you onboard with us and thanks for sharing pics of the your girls. Please don't spend an age trying to get the English perfect - it makes no difference to any of us - we all understand "chicken" and thats what matters [IMG]

    All the best
