Been lurking and learning for a bit and finally joined. We recently moved and have some "property" and started thinking about some sort of new animals. My children's school has peafowl, geese, donkeys, horses, llamas....so we started narrowing down our options and decided on chickens. We have 2 adopted standard poodles (big poodles) and a wire haired jack fox westie terrier (pure mixbreed) that's a foster to keep, we also foster standards to adopt. We are surrounded by chickens, horses, cows, donkeys....so it's inevitable that we get more animals. So now my winter projects involve the race car and.....a chicken coop! Looking to get 4 birds in the spring for eggs and family pets.
