New to BYC, so new I don't even have chickens!

The wife and I have recently started talking chickens. We have an adorable soon to be two years old daughter, two dogs, one chi weenie, one Boston terrier, and a old grumpy cat.

The thought of having our own egg laying chickens came about when we started living the Paleo lifestyle, and eating fresh real foods. That being said I am now seeking any and all knowledge that I can before I start building my future chickens their home. Soooo any advice is welcome!
