The wife and I have recently started talking chickens. We have an adorable soon to be two years old daughter, two dogs, one chi weenie, one Boston terrier, and a old grumpy cat.

The thought of having our own egg laying chickens came about when we started living the Paleo lifestyle, and eating fresh real foods. That being said I am now seeking any and all knowledge that I can before I start building my future chickens their home. Soooo any advice is welcome!

Welcome to BYC. Go to the "raising backyard chickens' forum and click on the coop and run design section. Good luck with planning and construction of your coop.

Welcome to BYC! [IMG]We're glad to have you. If you want to learn more about chickens, I recommend going to the "Learning Center" on this website. It has lots of information on chickens. Good luck with your future flock!
