    Hi Jesse! You have some pretty good looking silkies! My son is 7 and he wants some Bobwhite quail! How are those new babies doing???

    Quail crow? My only experience with them is busting coveys in the field, under the apple tree. They made all kinds of noise, but it was squeaks and wing feathers.

    They actually make the coolest noise when they crow. It's not offensive to the ears like some others such as peacocks or even roosters sometimes. It's very interesting, I love it too.

    Get on YouTube and listen to them. They are adorable. I keep mine on my enclosed front porch so I can hear them.
