What kind of quail are you getting? I have coturnix and valley. I love to hear them crow.

Quail crow? My only experience with them is busting coveys in the field, under the apple tree. They made all kinds of noise, but it was squeaks and wing feathers.

They actually make the coolest noise when they crow. It's not offensive to the ears like some others such as peacocks or even roosters sometimes. It's very interesting, I love it too.

Jess, he is still a silkie chick, he's just a partridge silkie.

Hi Jesse!! You will love the quail. I have coturnix also.. I actually have 104 in the incubator right now due to hatch October 15th.
