Hey everyone!!! I am somewhat of a new chicken owner. My husband has cared for chickens for the past 3 years. I recently jumped on the bandwagon with him and love my girls! Yesterday, we purchased 10 more chickens in hopes to create a small side income selling eggs. Not to mention my kids love interacting with them! Thanks for reading my post! I look forward to learning as much as I can!
 
We purchased in the age range of 12-17 weeks. Our new flock consists of 5 Red sex links, 2 Rhode island reds, 2 black sex link and 1 Australorp. I forgot to mention in my original post that we also have a young turkey. Not sure of the age, but it has not been sexed yet, if that gives any indication.

Lovely flock, and started or point-of-lay birds are a great way to start
