It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. (https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...-there-and-cut-more-holes-in-your-coop.47774/) Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!

Who told you they were pullets? The only way you can tell with BAs is by vent sexing. Many think they can use other ways to tell but they are wrong. It is sad when they do that to their customers

Yes, I took them to a breeder today who confirmed that they were roosters, but they were much younger than I was told - only about 12 weeks. She's going to use them as breeders, so a happy ending, of which I'm glad.
