New to BYC

Hello everyone! My name is Megan, and I live in central Oklahoma. As a child my family raised ringneck pheasants. We got out of that business when I was about 16 then we had Rhode Island Reds. Now that I'm grown and have a family of my own we just recently purchased 6, week-old, silkie chicks. Really excited how their colors will turn out. My kids just love them to death! I wanted to join backyard chickens because every time you ask Google a question about chickens you can usually always find the answer in a BYC forum. Besides chickens we also have a lazy house cat and horses. We hope soon to get into the longhorn cattle business.
