(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We got our first chickens after my daughters teacher hatched them in the classroom and needed homes for the chicks.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 7 hens & 1 rooster named "Penguin"

(3) What breeds do you have? Dominique, Aricana, & Rhode Island Red (Please excuse my spelling of the breeds)

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? Google search

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? horseback riding, camping, 4 wheelin, gardening, anything outdoors

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am a vet tech living my dream. We have a small hobby farm in southern TN on which we house 5 horses, 6 rabbits, 6 dogs, 5 cats, 2 goats (1 boer &1 Nigerian Dwarf), a ferret, and of course our chickens. I had no idea how much I would enjoy raising chickens, but they have brought us so much joy (and unfortunately some sorrow too).
