I am enjoying my chickies, also! Like you said...even changing the waterer/feeder and cleaning their coop! The only problem I foresee right now is that my EE is kind of aggressive towards the 6 smaller ones that are a few weeks younger (the 3 Orps/3 RIR). Actually, he is rather aggresive in general. More so than all my other chickens, anyway. Would love to see how your coop is coming along! We haven't made a lot of progress on ours, still just have the frame. We need to get to work on it!!!

I Have Heard that some Jersey Giants can get up to 13 Pounds ! I hope so I just got 11 a few weeks ago.. They ar growing very Fast and to be truthful Going through a kind of Ugly stage LOL

My Jersey Giants are in the ugly stage too, but I suspect when they are fully grown and filled out they will be a beautiful bird. All of mine are different and I like the different looks. Honestly at this point my two Easter Eggers (or I was told they are) are the most attractive.
